hotspots for the Toledo Ohio Metro and surrounding area.
WiFi or Wi-Fi® (Wireless
Fidelity1) is the name used for the wireless communication system
that uses the IEEE 802.11 standard.
For the ease of maintaining the
list, the list page is created with Microsoft Excel which is best
viewed with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
The list is maintained as a labor of
love, and is updated on a time available basis, without any
subsidy of any kind.
The list was started in 2004 with
only 20 hotspots, and has grown over 10 fold
within only four years. The reason the list was started and
maintained was due to the fact that all other sources were
woefully missing hotspots, had many errors, and did not
adequately represent independent hotspot providers.
